This "Teacher Wishlist" donation will be used to purchase an inspirational art decal for TMS's Writing Center.
The Writing Center faculty are excited about this large 30 inch x 40 inch inspirational art decal. The pencil isn't just for the SATs. It is the go-to drawing tool of the carpenter and the architect, the cartoonist and the painter. Students use pencils when they learn math at TMS, and the writing center faculty would like students to use pencils as one of their tools for writing along with their digital tools. Writing by hand rather than keyboard improves memory recall and encourages critical thinking for many students.
By the way, do you know who’s the king of the pencil case? The ruler.
