The 32nd Annual Dance Festival will feature an exciting and beautiful performance of traditional Chinese classical and folk dances, depicting the unique cultures of several Chinese tribes.

Founded by Dr. Jaw John Chan in 1987, the Chinese-American Dancing Group of Monrovia promotes Chinese culture, raises multicultural awareness, and provides a professional training center for its children, teen, and adult dance classes. The Chinese-American Dancing Group has participated and performed in numerous ethnic and cultural activities including major televised parades and open-theater performances. Through meticulous research and choreography, each dance piece is expertly taught to display the authenticity and beauty of Chinese culture. Dr. Chang was honored with the "Flying Phoenix Award", Taiwan's highest dance instructor award in 1998.
