Item Number: 226
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Come explore the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in San Pedro and its surrounding habitats with Walden's very own science teacher, Xana Hermosillo, and 6th grade teacher Danica Dermott! This special expedition can include up to eight students. Depending on the time of year, students can bird watch at the salt marsh, dig for sand crabs at the sandy beach, and/or explore the organisms living in the tidepools. Explore the tanks and facilities at the aquarium with Xana, a marine scientist with a 20 year relationship with the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. She knows all sorts of fun facts about marine life and will be happy to share them with the winners. Pack a lunch and spend the whole day being naturalists.
