June 3 is World Bicycle Day and Walden is thinking globally and biking locally. The United Nations has declared June 3rd as International World Bicycle Day, by adopting a resolution on April 12th 2018, during the 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly, in New York City. The resolution was adopted by a consensus of 193 member states.
Join the Toscano and Orense Families for a child-friendly ride through Lacy Park in San Marino. Riders of all ages welcome. This will be a leisurely two hour ride on a three quarter mile loop through a lovely tree-lined park. Refreshments will be provided.
Special Instructions
Limited space, all riders must purchase at ticket. All riders must wear bicycle helmets. Children must be accompanied by parents. Cyclists will meet a 10 a.m. and begin with bicycle safety course.
Auction items will be available for pickup in the Walden Community Room on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 through Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 2:30PM - 5:30PM. If you can not pick up your auction item at that time and require shipping, additional charges will be applied.
