Maná graduated from Art School in 2007, and in that same year she worked alongside Claudio Edinger in his creative process, which ranged from the colour treatment of various pieces to the planning of exhibitions.

In 2009, Maná had the opportunity to visit Amazonia with Edinger and Jay Colton  as an assistant photographer, to shoot the lifestyle of local people and their culture.

In 2010, Maná delved into a new project of her own, called Petals on the Skin. This exhibition took place in 2014 in São Paulo, Brazil. In 2015, the artist journeyed to Uttar Pradesh in India to work once again with Edinger. In the process of building her career as a photographer, Maná studied under Alain Laboile, Alex Majoli, Armando Prado, Arno Rafael Minkkenin, Bruce Guilden, Jay Colton, and Steve McCurry, among others.
