Hello my name is Mark Allan, born and raised in the beautiful flower city, Rochester, NY. Woodworking is a passion of mine and in 2016 I launched Mark Allan Woodworks as a way to share my passion with others through selling high quality, handmade, local goods which are both beautiful and functional. I don't use any stains or dyes, all the colored wood is natural from all over the world.

 Growing up, my fathers passion was to pass along useful skills and knowledge to his children. From fixing cars to building barns, I was always by his side absorbing all I could learn. He taught me how to plan, execute, problem solve and most importantly learn from my mistakes. This is where I acquired the love for building things with my hands. There is no greater satisfaction than a perfectly executed finished product.
