Japanese Friendship Garden
Two guest passes to the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix, a place of tranquility and beauty as an escape from the everyday pressures of life for meditation and relaxation and to enrich and restore the body, mind, and spirit. The garden offers an educational and peaceful way to promote understanding and appreciation of the Japanese culture.
Authentic tea ceremonies for the public are held on the third Saturday of each month October through June. The ceremonies are presented by Tanko Kai tea group, wearing beautiful kimonos in our Musoan tea house. Guests are met at the entry gate and conducted to the tea house by a docent who explains features in the tea garden and other interesting facts about the tea house itself.

Japanese Friendship Garden
Tea ceremonies require complete silence for a duration of 30 minutes. Guests must be age 12 years or older, as the seating may have other guests apart from your group.
