Welcome to the lair of time, where caves created during the last Ice Age await your discovery. Here, in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, Polar Caves offers you the chance to dive into the earth, and rise into the sky. Rumney offers some of the best sport climbing in the northeast, and Polar Caves recently added two new climbing experiences for visitors. These new attractions called The Glacial Wall and The Ascent aka "Via Ferrata", enhance any visitor experiences at Polar Caves Park. 

From the Polar Pinch to Fat Man’s Misery, King Tut’s to The Devil’s Turnpike, each cave presents an opportunity for discovery and fun.

Early Season               Opening Day to Memorial Day:          10a-5p (last admission sold at 4p)

Summer Season        Memorial Day – Labor Day:           9a-6p (last admission sold at 5p)

Late Season                 Labor Day to October 15th:            10a-5p (last admission sold at 4p)
