The mission of the Petersen Automotive Museum is to explore and present the history of the automobile and its impact on American life and culture.  We are excited to welcome visitors to our newly renovated and reopened museum, featuring 25 new galleries including the breathtaking Seeing Red: 70 Years of Ferrar exhibit, the Forza Motorsport Racing Experience, the Disney/Pixar CARS Mechanical Institute - all of which is housed within a spectacular new structure that communicates speed and motion.  These galleries provide a unique, in-depth experience that is interactive, educational and entertaining for all visitors - from long-time automotive enthusiasts to families seeking a fun experience.
