Description
A bit of growing history form a time gone by. This plant ivy is a cutting from an ivy once was in the White House on president Kennedy's fireplace mantle, and stayed there at least through Reagan. Staff pinched off leaves and shared clippings and it has slowly spread around...if anyone is nostalgic for a time when the White House was a place of dignity and admiration, they might want a piece of Kennedys plant!
"Presidents may come and go, but Swedish Ivy stays." In the picture, you can see the Swedish Ivy plant perched perfectly on the mantle, right there, in the Oval Office of the President of the United States of America.
