Named one of Philadelphia's "Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings of 2018"  by Zagat, we are so excited to welcome you all to Suraya, a specialty, all-day market and café, restaurant and outdoor garden located in the bustling Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Created by Nathalie Richan and Roland Kassis of Café La Maude and Greg Root and Nick Kennedy of ROOT restaurant + wine bar, Suraya is named after the beloved grandmother of Nathalie and Roland, who raised both siblings in Beirut, Lebanon.

As we say in Arabic, "Yalla, Sahtein!" or "Come and enjoy your meal!" with us here at Suraya.

Root's cuisine is a  fresh take on Italian, Spanish and American food
