Horse archery has existed for centuries as a tactic for warfare, hunting and protecting herds, but the art was reborn as a modern sport around the early 2000s, Merrill said. Horse archery adds a whole other dimension to equestrianism."

After 25 years in 3-Day Eventing and Hunter/Jumper, Hilary now focuses her training and instruction on Horse Archery and pressure/release horsemanship that creates a foundation for success in this sport. She loves working with kids of all ages and adults of all levels in pursuing their equestrian goals. Hilary has an HA3 ranking from the International Horse Archery Alliance and competes both domestically and internationally.
