Poetry is a mirror, a magnify glass, a telescope. This summer join Get Lit’s Summer Camp to look inside yourself and blossom as a poet and performer. Get ready to ignite your writing and skyrocket your impact using the Get Lit model of Classic and Response. The first week of camp will focus on bringing your writing to the next level by honing craft, with emphasis on form, mining for metaphor and more. We will take a deep dive into performance, discussing stage presence, nuance and emotional connection. The second week is a hip-hop based workshop that will give creatives the ability to harness oratory skills through practices and immersion. Soar with spoken word to unlock your power, passion and potential.

This summer camp is the perfect prep for Get Lit Player Auditions on Sept 15.

If you are not local or can not pick up your items on May 15, the item will be shipped to you at your expense unless you make alternate arrangements for pick up by emailing us at gala@larchmontcharter.org
