Laser axilla (armpit), bikini area and lower legs hair removal employs a focused beam of light to damage the hair follicle and permanently minimize hair growth. The hair follicle absorbs the light, converting it to heat. This heat damages the follicle and inhibits hair growth. More than one treatment may be necessary to achieve the desired result of eliminating all hair growth. With each treatment, significantly less hair grows back until permanent hair reduction is achieved.
