For this year's Collaborative Summer Library Reading theme "Libraries Rock", ASHM will introduce families to the music of Sweden. 

This rocking program will have kids dancing and singing to the music of Sweden. Families will get an introduction to classical opera, traditional folk, ABBA, and even discover the Swedish musicians of today. Children will explore Swedish culture and how music is integrated into daily life and holiday traditions while performing an opening operatic warm-up, collaborative choral song, fanfare fiddle craft and folk dance finale. Keep the fun times rolling on the ride home with a take home CD of traditional and contemporary music!
