Racecourse Half-Day Raft Trip
The most popular half-day raft trip. Two to three hours of Class 2 and 3 rapids, a rollercoaster ride of whitewater thrills. A perfect family adventure at most water levels, the Racecourse is a suitable whitewater raft trip for first-time rafters. At super-high levels, the last rapid of the Racecourse is one of the biggest on the Rio Grande! That doesn't happen every year, and when it does we move younger children to the Orilla Verde section.

Funyak it! For extra thrills at low and medium water levels, paddle your own inflatable one-person or two-person miniature raft, accompanied by a guide. You will get a comprehensive lesson at the beginning of the trip, and you will amaze yourself at the skill with which you learn to negotiate the whitewater. No extra charge.

Orilla Verde Float - Half Day
A mellow and scenic trip, perfect for small children, seniors, and those who just want to relax on the river. Placid waters glide along past towering bluffs and buttes. Swallows skim the surface and dart past the raft in a dazzling display of avian acrobatics. Indian petroglyphs too.

Orilla Verde trips can be done in an oar boat – powered by the guide, you just relax - or a paddle boat. Please state your preference, if you have one, when you book your trip.

Funyak it! Try paddling your own inflatable one-person or two-person miniature raft, accompanied by a guide. Also known as duckies, funyaks are stable and easy to maneuver. You will get a comprehensive lesson at the beginning of the trip. Perfect for those who want a half-day introductory funyak trip, or those who are accompanying family members on the Orilla Verde section and want a bit more excitement. The only funyak trip we run in both high and low water. No extra charge.
