Stop by our tasting room and you're likely to find owners Bart and Mary Colucci behind the counter, ready to pour! You may purchase wine tastings, wine by the glass, bottles of wine, and wine by the case. We also offer wine club memberships.

Wines carrying the Barterra label are available for purchase exclusively from our Half Moon Bay winery.

We sell our wines directly to you, the consumer. You won't find them at restaurants or in stores. We can guarantee the quality of each bottle we sell, because we know it has been transported and stored with the utmost care.

Barterra's Origins

Barterra Winery was founded in 2005, but our roots go back to 1901 when Bart's grandfather left his native Italy to seek a better life for his family in America. Bart inherited his grandfather's name 'Bartholomew Colucci' and his passion for good wine.

Bart has a nose (and palate) for exceptional wines, and he personally curates Barterra's selection of unique, premium wines from California wine country.

Barterra Winery is located at 643 Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay, near many fine shops and restaurants. We're a short drive from San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Ample parking available.
