2015 Stout Petite Sirah, Lodi-dark black in color, is a full bodied wine that exhibits black fruits-black plum, blackberry, a hint of currants-on the palate, with a balanced structure of acidity and tannin that supports the fruit, and the makes the wine a wonderful compliment to stew, BBQ, or rich cheeses. 2015 Solena Pinot Gris, Williamette Valley, Oregon is an above average Pinot Gris, grown in the well known Williamette Valley, home to many outstanding Oregon pinot noirs and other cool-weather grapes. This wine has a slightly fuller-than-usual body for a pinot gris, with a viscosity that often isn't found in these kind of wines. A delightful white peach is predominant on the palate, with a hint of crisp melon. The finish is clean and likewise, crisp. This is a "boutique" wine label, with the production being under
