Childrens Introductory Sewing Lesson Up to 2 children (children must be at least 5 years of age and able to sit still and follow directions for at least 15 minutes at a time; parents may be present or drop off kids) Available beginning June 1st (date must be negotiated in advance); must be completed by Dec. 21, 2018. One 2-3 hour lesson At my home in Gerstle Park (parents must drop off and pick-up) Child(ren) will learn o sewing safety o names of sewing machine parts o how to thread a needle o basics of operating a sewing machine o to sew his/her/their own pillow case (with guidance) Limited pillow case fabric options available; pillow will not be provided Great for boys or girls who would love to have a personalized pillow case and learn a new skill
