The Royal Copenhagen production of figurines is made exclusively by hand, respecting old traditions. During the production process a figurine goes between the expert hands of numerous craftsmen. With these hands that the dough is casting in moulds and different parts of the figurine. The carvings are made with steady hand and, after the first baking, the statues are decorated and glazed then manually; each of them is, therefore, a unique work that bears the initials of the artist. After a new baking and a thorough quality control, the figurines are ready to be admired throughout the world.
