Antonio Morton Butt was born in Mexico City and has studied Art and History of Art in Goldsmiths College, University of London. Photography took a hold of him there and he packed his bags and was off to California to study at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography. He received a Bachelor of the Arts, B.A. degree with honors in 1999 and was awarded the Photography Departmental Award. He also earned a PADI Dive Master Certificate.
