About the wine:
This Pinot combines fruit from David Bruce's estate vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains and a handful of several small family-owned vineyards that benefit from the cooling breezes off the Pacific. Dense black cherry and raspberry fruit are lifted by hints of black pepper, exotic cardamom spice and hints of pine pitch. Aged in a combination of French and American oak adds hints of walnuts and nutmeg spice.Supple, drinkable, and with plenty of staying power. Enjoy now with some decanting or age for 3-5 years.
