In this lesson, Planet Granite will teach you to manage the ropes (called belaying). A beginner belay lesson includes gear rental (shoes and harness) and one day pass. At the end of class, students will receive a temporary belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day!

Parent/Child Belay Lesson: For parents who are interested in learning to belay for their child, we offer a Parent/Child Belay lesson.

Lesson includes a harness for one child and one adult. Each adult must bring at least one child with them for the class, since the parent will need a "climber" to work with as they learn. Additional children are $14. Must be 14 years of age for the beginner belay lesson. No age restriction for the parent/child belay lesson.

Package includes 2 beginner lessons, so bring a friend and learn belay together.
