Join Peter Ohtaki, Mayor of Menlo Park, for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Menlo Park City Council Chambers and City Hall. Open to a 4th-8th grade student after school one day during minimum week in November 2018. The Mayor-for-a-Day, accompanied by his or her parent, will begin the visit with an official lunch meeting with the Mayor.

After lunch, take meetings with Mayor Peter Ohtaki and key city staff, who will explain the Public Works, Traffic, and Planning Departments for Menlo Park. Tour the Police Department, meeting our wonderful police dog, and enjoy an exciting ride-along in a police car with an officer who is on duty that day.
