Multimedia Tools for the 21st Century Learner
Fueling Collaboration, Creativity and Communication

Is your child a budding artist, mathematician, writer, historian, actor, scientist, engineer or musician? Because each of our students is unique in their aspirations and their learning style, this year’s Fund-a-Need focuses on giving students the opportunity to transform their learning and ignite their creativity with new multimedia tools so they can become content creators, not just consumers. Multimedia tools touch every student across grades and content areas giving them new ways to develop their creative expression and “show what they know.”

With new multimedia tools your child can create, collaborate and use critical thinking skills to produce stop motion animation, claymation, videos and pictures using green screens, audio recordings for music production, reader’s theater and podcasts, models, perform live on stage, and broadcast their learning within our school community!

Our goal is to raise $90,000 so we can fund:

• Updated video/audio production studio at La Entrada (KPAW)


• Mobile media kits for K-6 grades (ipad, portable green screen, software, microphone, tripod)


• New sound and lighting systems in performance spaces (Cano Hall and Jensen Hall)


• Replace outdated iPad 2’s
