This Kindergarten abstract painting on grometted, gessoed canvas was created collaboratively with oil pastels, tempera paint, and acrylic paint. No general theme or given direction was provided by Arts Teacher Max Spitzer, apart from the class working to collaborate over many, many layers of drawing, building off of each others marks. Each kindergartner involved signed their name really big in the middle, naturally!
