Description
Have you ever wanted to see Marine Biology research in action?
Ever wanted to get (safely) close to a shark while helping researchers!?
Well this package is for you!
Join our experts on the boar and take part in our shark studies in South Florida. While on board, participants will help with assembling fishing equipment, baiting hooks, and placing gear in the water.
Once a shark is caught, the research team will secure the shark and the guests will be able to measure and tag the animal, collect samples of tissue and even take photos with the shark before it is released safely back into the water.
During the research trip, guests may encounter a variety of shark species such as nurse, blacknose, lemon, sandbar, Atlantic sharpnose, great hammerhead, tiger, bull sharks and more!
Always a blast to see what can be found!
Trips leave from the beautiful Nova Southeastern University, Oceanographic Center in Dania Beach, Florida.
