Description
The wood for this set of four bowls was salvaged from a tree that was removed from Allerton Garden in 2015. It is a Cassia species, commonly called the golden shower tree. It is a "nesting set" in which each smaller bowl is cored from the larger bowl with a natural edge and retaining the bark. The largest gowl is 10" W x 6.5" D. Created by Robin Clark, a NTBG Fellow and President of the Kauai woodturners.
