Get Your Feet Wet gives new campers the chance to try out Surprise Lake Camp for 5 days.  It’s the perfect program for campers entering grades 1-4 who have never been to sleepaway camp before!

The Staff:
This five day adventure is led by an incredible group of volunteer alumni and hand-picked summer staff members who bring with them an energy and spirit that is absolutely electric and contagious! Aquatics are supervised by certified lifeguards and a nurse is present at all times. The staff have participated in a week-long orientation and received an entire summer of ongoing training.  Spirit, caring, and outstanding supervision are guaranteed.

The Program:
The most successful special activities of the summer will be repeated for this group along with a wide range of the old favorites. Campers will experience a hike, a Shabbat program, a campfire and s'mores, daily swims in our lake or pool, an ice cream sundae party, singing, ballfield activities, boating, arts & crafts, drama, and much more!  The program ends with a special Show/Graduation & BBQ lunch for parents on the last day of the program.

The Facilities:
Campers will live in Mountainview, housing that was specially designed for younger campers. These popular cabins feature spacious living areas, scenic outdoor decks, and indoor bathrooms and showers.
