The Crabby Shack was founded by two women who wanted to bring their love of crabs and everything seafood to Brooklyn! This petite little seafood joint is a modest but brightly lit, one-room shop (shack it is not) with a few tables and a bar looking out the window onto the street. Undeniably charming in its simplicity, you order your crab from the cashier and wait until your name is called. True to the name, there’s hardly anything on the menu that isn’t crab, which is slightly disappointing (there’s only so many ways to prepare these crustaceans) but also reassuring—this place does one thing and does it well.
