Marina Martial Arts has been a family-run institution since it was founded in 1973 by Master K. Choong Han. Fifteen years later, the school was passed on to one of his most senior students, Master Keith M. Jones. Today, Marina Martial Arts continues to teach cutting-edge martial arts with an emphasis on Life and Leadership Skills. Master Jones personally supervises the instruction of all levels of classes.

Training since 1976, his experience and knowledge of latest teaching and motivational techniques gives him and his staff insight into dealing with the needs of each individual student. Master Jones’ extensive experience as a national level competitor, referee, and coach of numerous Junior and Senior National Champions has contributed to the development of our proven motivational, fitness and self- defense curriculum.

Master Jones has appeared in local and national television programs on self-defense and has been the subject of several articles appearing in major martial art magazines such as Black Belt Magazine. In addition to his expertise in Tae Kwon Do he has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a Certified Public Accountant.
