Inspiration: Abbey Road

Liza's class, this last semester, have learned to collaborate with their diverse personalities, interests and talents. In working together as a class, they have learned that they can accomplish anything.

The students of Pre-KA came together and used their hands, brushes and unique tools to create this Abbey Road inspired masterpiece.

Done in three stages, the students were first photgraphed holding hands across the school yard to create the silhouette. Using water-based paints, they created the iconic Abbey Road backdrop to include the sky, trees, a street and crosswalk. Finally, they glued on the colourfully painted silhouette overlay to the canvas, creating the final painting.

This item is on display on campus in Gallery 24.
