Founded by Gold Rush merchant Bernard Ehlers in the 1880s, Ehlers Estate is a 42-acre estate with a CCOF certified organic winery. The Ehlers team practices sustainable and biodynamic viniculture and their winery is a gem of the Napa Valley. The 2014 Ehlers Estate Cabernet Sauvignon shows the best of their wines; this red shows lots of fruit on the nose with hints of dried herbs such as rosemary. Medium to full body, medium tannins and a light finish.
