The Museum at Eldridge Street is housed in the historic Eldridge Street Synagogue, the first house of worship built by Eastern European Jews in America. The National Historic Landmark, built in 1887, was meticulously restored in the late-20th century and today operates as a Museum offering building tours and programs exploring immigrant history and historic preservation. Guided tour is included, but not required, with the price of admission.
