Hudson Valley Dance Festival

Changing leaves, crisp autumn air and breathtaking views of the Hudson River set the scene for the Hudson Valley Dance Festival.  The event features renowned dance companies and emerging artists from a range of styles performing on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, NY.  You will have prime seating with access to the pre-show cocktail party.

Thomas Cole House

The Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill, NY – just 100 miles north of New York City – marks the birthplace of American art, where the Hudson River School of landscape painting began.  Tour Thomas Cole’s home, hike to one of the magnificent views that he painted, see exhibitions of American landscape painting, watch an original film, browse the gift shop, or take in a lecture.  Visitors of all ages enjoy the sweeping view of the Great Northern Catskills and comparing it with images of Cole’s paintings of the same view.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim

See one of the greatest dance companies in the world in one of the most celebrated buildings in the world.  This Fall the American Ballet Theatre will perform during the 2018 Works & Process Season at the Guggenheim.  Take in a performing-arts series that explores artistic creation through stimulating conversation and performance at the Frank Lloyd Wright–designed, Peter B. Lewis Theater.
