Give yourself the gift of time!
Have your child join our family (Rubina, Greg & Jim – 4.5 yrs old) on an adventure to DUMBO, Brooklyn – our beloved former neighborhood. We’ll spend 5-6 hours exploring the parks, piers and playgrounds of the waterfront. Lunch, snack and transportation included.
Highlights include:
– The East River ferry ride from Manhattan’s Pier 11 to Brooklyn’s Pier 1.
– Rides on gorgeous antique Jane's Carousel (almost 100 years old).
– Kicking a ball in the various grassy spots near Pier 1 or near the carousel.
– Learning about local ecology and sustainability at the Environmental Education Center.
– Visiting Main Street Playground with its pirate ship before skipping rocks at Pebble Beach.
– Walking the entire mile-long waterfront from DUMBO down to Pier 6 – absolute playground heaven!
