Join me at our studio in Topanga for a day of color, food and chats. We will start the day with a walk foraging local plants and flowers with which to dye. Upon return, we will make dye baths, discuss the history of natural color in textiles, enjoy snacks and visit with our chickens. We'll work with Shibori (Japanese binding) to create beautiful designs on vintage napkins. Each person will return with a set of two vintage napkins.
