8.2.0 is the second venture from VBGB Beer Hall and Garden/Restaurant owners Kara and Tom Taddeo. With the ever-growing Uptown Charlotte scene and the need for more fun concepts, they decided to take the space directly across from them at the Avid Xchange Music Factory (formerly, the NC Music Factory) and build in some more entertainment and great food. Like VBGB, they drew on their past experiences and places they loved in NYC and other cities and thought of the things that would be the best compliment to the Music Factory and to Charlotte and came up with 5 things:

Upscale Karaoke Lounge (with proper stage, lighting, sound system, tv’s, elevated booth seating (available to rent by the hour), prop box and glitter.  The Karaoke Room is hosted by local Charlotte actors, so get ready for a show beyond normal karaoke.

Large Event Rooms (that can be divided down into smaller rooms with soundproof walls, full audio and video systems built in for presentations of any sort, full service bars in each room, coat room and gourmet coffee station).

Vintage Game Arcade (80’s pinball, 80’s video games like Galaga, Ms Pacman,Pole Position and Skeeball).

Pizza & Pommes Frites Eatery (4 gourmet pizzas by the slice, Cauliflower Crust Pizza, Belgian-style Pommes Frites with 20+ fun dips, Meatballs in a cup with 4 hot sauces and Cauliflower (meatless) Balls and an outside walk up window for quick service.
