This wine has notes of black cherry and raspberry combined with gentle hints of candied walnut, Herbs de Provence and coffee form the core of this harmonious blend of malbec, merlot and syrah. These aromas and flavors are backed by gentle tannins, leading to a full, ripe finish.

Why Mighty? Why Oak? The story of the name of this wine is quite simple. The name of the winery is White Oak, the name of the owner is Bill Myers, affectionately known as the Mighty Oakster. So we, not he, thought it would be a nice homage to Bill. Proprietary Red Blends are meant to be able to accompany many dishes.  The winery feels that this wine fits that description.  Give it a try!
