This exquisite hand made rod case is was expertly crafted for a 4 piece 9' to 10' rod. The case's dimensions are 2 1/2" square by 36" long. Its weight is 1 lb 13 oz which is only 3 - 4 oz more than the typical cloth covered rod case. Built in a practical hexagonal shape with Paduak corners intesecting the beautiful Bamboo sides, the case is the ultimate accessory for that very expensive or custom built fly rod. The top closure itself well designed so the top opens for access, but remains attached so you will not be losing it. Cushioning foam is built into both the top and the bottom to help protect your valuable rod.
Special Instructions
The custom rod case is made from Bamboo with Paduak joined in a well engineered hexagonal shape for both strength and beauty. It has been finished with a general finish followed by hand-rubbed wax. This case is available for pickup in the East Bay (Lafayette). For additional costs over the bid cost, buyer may have the case shipped to them. If this option is chosen the costs will be charged after the close of the auction.
