" Cats have been our companions long before they graced the temples in Ancient Egypt. They're not just for worship. Many of those temple cats were trained as watch cats who stationed themeselves on door sills and jumped down to attack any unfamiliar person foolish enought to enter the inner sanctum.

Those feline not fortunate enough to serve with the gods, have wrought war upon the snakes and rats infesting their humans' granaries. During times of rodent-born plague, they've more than earned their place at the table.  They've also served on battleships and with men in the trenches.  They've even offered a comforting paw to the wounded in both hospitals as well as after the veterans return hearth and home.

Cats  have moved aboard ships across this world introducing different breeds to new lands. Likely in the future they will travel on space ships to the galaxies and potentially meet their own far distant cousins."
