Owned and operated by Minnesota-expat "Jordan sisters," Brook Jordan Hunt and Nicci Jordan Hubert, The Bird House got its start in a tiny closet-sized studio in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, and quickly outgrew the space. Soon, Brooke and Nicci realized it was time to invest in a bigger, better studio. Early in 2015, The Bird House moved to its current Gowanus location. They are the number one hair salon in Brooklyn and have been featured inTime Out New York, Brooklyn Magazine, and New York Magazine as a top NYC salon.
