Description

Wheel-thrown and Hand-painted Bird Bottle Board house. A cozy nest for wrens and chick-a-dees. Place in a quiet shady spot. Under the eaves of a building is best. Pottery by Jon. Measures 6" tall and 4" round.


In colonial times, bird bottles were hung beneath the eaves of buildings to encourage martins and other small birds to roost and help with insect control.
