Carolina BioKits®: Exploring Human Senses 

Grade 9–College. Provide students with materials and procedures to explore the human senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. The experiments in this kit explore the reception of stimuli by various sense organs and interpretation of this data by the brain. Students test their own senses as they rotate through 10 stations. Each activity takes about 15 min; the activities can be spread out over multiple class periods. Kit includes materials for 30 students working in groups of 3.

Carolina® Reflexes and Reactions Kit

This kit enables students to study each other's reflexes and visually evoked reactions using clinically accepted methods and materials. They will learn the neurological difference between a reflex and a reaction as well as the protective value of various reflex mechanisms.
