Agarwood incense is made of resinous heartwood pulp of agarwood tree. When burned, agarwood incense will release a fragrance which helps to calm the nervous system, enhance relaxation and relieve anxiety. Agarwood can help move qi, neutralize sha qi, and is sometimes worn in amulet form, and sometimes used for the fashioning of household objects.
