Nancy Hamlin-Vogler: "BuddhaLand, 9" Giclee Print

Item Number: 235
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Nancy Hamlin-Vogler's "BuddhaLand, 9" is an archival pigmented ink print from her original, mixed media collage on paper. “The BuddhaLand series is an ongoing body of work, a colorful collection of washy acrylic paints, soft pastels, pasted pattern tissue and silkscreened elements, 'BuddhaLand, 9' is intuitive and gestural. As I worked, the paint and interrupted marks became a map of a faded memory of Kathmandu: its stupas, exuberance, movement, and reverence.”
Ms. Hamlin-Vogler lives in St. Augustine, Florida, where she creates and produces her greeting cards, journals, and mixed medium drawings in her backyard studio. Eastern Sun Printworks’ card designs are inspired by the rich color quality of the screen printing process, the landscapes of the many countries visited by the artist on her two-year back packing trip around the world, and her love for Tibet and Buddhadharma.
