Zulu Nyala began in 1981 when Trevor Shaw bought a remote 15,500 acre piece of land in the middle of KwaZulu Nyala, an undeveloped but superb wilderness area.  In 1991, construction began on a “gentleman’s camp”, an exclusive 12 room thatch and stone lodge on a hill, offering a beautiful view over the region.  It is today a magnificent private lodge that hosts guests from all over the world and is home to 40 different animal species. Airfare not included.
