The Boston Marathon Patriots Day: Framed, Numbered and Signed by the Artist, Peter Rolfe:  This iconic image can be yours to remember one of Boston's most cherished events, "The Boston Marathon".  The painting is one of the best-known representations of the Boston Marathon.  Peter Rolfe was born in Maine in 1942. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Illinois and a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He began painting full-time in 1971 and at the urging of Laurence Sisson, began with a painting trip along the New England coast.
