Joan studied at Emmanuel College and Boston University School of Fine Arts where she studied under Reed Kay, Jos. Ablow and Morton Sachs. She is represented in many shows on Cape Cod and the Boston area and is an artist member at the Copley Society of Art. She has been included in many shows at The Copley, both invitational and juried. Her work has been shown at Kendall Gallery for over 20 years.
