Joyce Zavorskas exhibits internationally and in Boston, Cape Cod and the Islands. Continuing a lifelong connection to earth and ocean, her oil paintings and monotypes document specific sites endowed with quiet dignity, enduring adversity from the forces of nature with stoic calm and acceptance. She has degrees in Painting and Printmaking from Syracuse University (BFA), Bridgewater University (MA), and MassArt (MFA). She worked in studio #405 at the Fenway Studios in Boston for ten years, and received commissions from Pfizer Corporation and Beth Israel Hospital. Zavorskas offers monotype, etching, and encaustic workshops in her Orleans studio.
